Listening to this very well-written book the Wedding People, by Alison Espach, about a woman who's booked into a hotel for one night to kill herself after a heart-breaking divorce and a feeling that life is not worth living. The rest of the hotel, except for this one room, is booked up for a week for a wedding, and the novel expands the relationship between Phoebe, the bride and then the rest of the wedding party. Even while dealing with various issues that the bride is facing, Phoebe gets to work through her own issues. The book is written with a lot of humour and plain-speaking and is refreshingly honest.
